Pack shot, point of sale and publicity 3D renders for Rusty Rivets Toy Line. As the images were used to replace photography for the packaging the images had to be faithful representations of the real toy rather than aspirational illustrations. All were produced using production CAD directly. CAD was supplied as STL files so required major cleanup and unwrapping for painting. Cleanup was completed firstly using Zbrush then passed to Maya for UV unwrapping and finally to Substance painter for color and mask painting. Lighting was done using HDR Light Studio and they were rendered in V-ray Next for Maya. Additional modeling and cleanup by Moises Guerra.
